How to Set Executable Properties/Attributes

Recommended Posts

Im wondering if there is any other way rather than to use ResHack to change the CompilerName, Author, Company, Version, etc.

Like is there a built in command or something that lets you set all those things? if so where? or how?

BlackDawn187 You can change the attributes using AutoItWrapper, which goes along with the full version SciteEditor.

There is no reading required for using the AutoIt3Wrapper, how did you even get that idea?

Start by installing SciTE4AutoIt3 if you haven't.

Then when you have a script opened choose "Tools", "Compile" and then go to the "Resource Update" tab. If there's anything that you are unsure about, hold your mouse over the control, some of them have tooltips. It also take you directly to the page in the helpfile if you press F1.

I believe he means for ALL exe's, not just AutoIt scripts being compiled.
