drw112
Is it possible to have every other line have a gray background color? Settings the background color sets the whole control and that doesn't really help. I'm trying to create a log of sorts and it would be more user friendly if alternating lines were colored differently. Thanks, Drew
AppTux
You can try this: $label1 = GUICtrlCreateLabel("Example",0,0,50,20) GUICtrlSetBkColor($label1(0xd8d8d8) ;a light grey color But you can also search in the help file. PowerSlide2UnlockiPhone look-a-like program you can use to lock your pc, you can't access your desktop again until the password is entered and the slider slided to the right. (really proud of it)-- After a time AutoIt and Windows, I switched to Mac. Don't expect me to answer anymore.
drw112
Not really what I'm talking about. Unless you are suggesting creating a label within an edit control.
Moderators Melba23 Posted December 3, 2009 Moderators Share Posted December 3, 2009 drewtown, As far as I know the only control that can easily be set to have alternating colour lines is a ListView. I do not see why you could not use that as a log. Just pay attention to how you insert the data - you will have to create a new item for each entry. Give it a go and come back if you need help.
