jvanegmond
directly it does not work, but if set a network resource on win7 he "connects" to the ftp and i can browse there with FileOpenDialogBUT: if i mark one item and press open autoit freezes. The way this works is that once you press open file, Windows downloads the entire file from FTP to a temporary file. Once that's done, it sends the location of the temporary file to AutoIt. This technique is slow because it needs to download the entire file first, and it doesn't show the user any sort of progress bar, it just appears to freeze. If you try with a really small file, you will see it works. Edited December 17, 2009 by Manadar github.com/jvanegmond

jvanegmond
Don't use FileOpenDialog. Write your own custom implementation. Use FTP libraries and some GUI. github.com/jvanegmond
