I'm trying to get an old program working for a teacher in a school I work in. It's giving me two problems, one which I can solve by running in Windows 98/ME Compatibility Mode:

WorldCupFever: welly95.exe - Bad Image

The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\wing.dll is not a valid Windows image.

Please check this against your installation diskette.

which appears when starting the program. The second appears at the end of an exercise (I assume during a save):

File I/O error

which can be solved by adding the teacher to the Domain Administrators group (regular Administrators didn't work).

I'm trying to create a script to RunAs the application as administrator. When I do this, it doesn't launch in compatibility mode, and using RunAs against the shortcut doesn't launch the application.

Any ideas?
