create grid on 3rd party window

3 posts in this topic

is it possible to use autoit to create a grid or a panel on another window that allows you to drag other windows into that window and it will lock to the grid? like when creating a gui in koda except on another window.

I don't know that you can "lock" another window to location, but WinGetPos() could be checked in a loop with WinMove() to put them back when moved. The real problem with that would probably be changing focus and Z-order (layering).

;)
