Getting session information from IE

2 posts in this topic

Hello,

Does anyone know that how can I get session value (generated with PHP code below) from internet explorer?

$_SESSION["test"] = "demo";

On PHP, I can use it for other pages using this code below:

session_start()
echo $_SESSION["test"];
// returns with demo

So is there any code sample for AutoIt that get _SESSION value on selected site?

I'm pretty certain that the session variables are stored server-side and you are wanting to get them client-side.

It would take modification of the server-side code to do what you want (if, for example, you placed the value you wnat in a hidden for field you could then access it client-side with AutoIt). You might also be able to get PHP to put the data in cookies and you could then access them in the IE client (IE.au3 has no fiunctions to directly help you with this however).

It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?
