I'm new to Autoit, but I am impressed with what it can do. I want to use it to alow my Visual Foxpro application to send and retrieve data via Internet Explorer.

I think I have the automation of I.E. down. (God bless Autoit3). Now I want to integrate it into my application. I need guidance on what route to take. I see that I can pass parameters to an Autoit program, but is there a good way to get info back from Autoit?

I was hoping to use AutoitX as a DLL. I have tested AutoitX and it runs in Visual Foxpro, but it appears that I would need to re-write and/or adapt all of the I.E. user defined functions. If there is a way to use the UDF functions via the DLL, please guide me, and my problens are solved.

Thank you in advance for suggestions.

Thank you for your sugestion. I think I can make that fly. So far I have only been using Autoit to control I.E., but you are right, I could make it "talk to" my program also.
