leonick5
I know its maybe a total noob question. I have written several scripts, one nearly 2000 lines long and pretty complicated, but I'm still trying to figure it out since my autoit starting days. I cannot see any difference beetwen the two things,....and I am pretty sure there must be one. (Or otherwise it would be senseless) hoping for some enlightenment

I don't think there is any difference between the ways methods otherwise, but maybe one has a minor speed advantage. jchd
Good point.I guess it deserves a bit of attention at times, as I seldom see it employed. There are only 2 occurences in the standard include UDFs (in FF.au3).It can really save the day by cutting some weird corners in an otherwise straightforward logic.
