Potar,

You can set the transparency with WinSetTrans. All you need to do is read the position of your slider with GUICtrlRead (which will give you a number between 0-100) and do a little basic maths to get a transparency value from 0-255.

Try and code something yourself - we are here if you run into difficulties. :D

Potar,

Because for some very strange reason, known only to the designers of Windows, the slider works with 0 at the top when you set it vertically. You just need to subtract the slider reading from 255 like this: :D

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>

$hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 500, 500)

$sldTrans = GUICtrlCreateSlider(200, 30, 40, 80, 2, 1)
GUICtrlSetLimit(-1, 255, 100)

GUISetState()

While 1

    Switch GUIGetMsg()
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
        Case $sldTrans
            $slVal = GUICtrlRead($sldTrans)
            WinSetTrans($hGUI,"",255 - $slVal)
    EndSwitch

WEnd
