Creating Copy Hook Handlers

3 posts in this topic

I need my software to be informed when a file copy even occurs. I found this way in MSDN. But I do not know how to do this in autoit. Please show me.

(I DID try to find it and to do it myself but could not succeed.)

Here is the documentation:

From the linked page:

Implementing Copy Hook Handlers

Like all Shell extension handlers, copy hook handlers are in-process Component Object Model (COM) objects implemented as DLLs.

So, why try to write this in AutoIt, a scripting language?

:D

I'm sorry. I didn't actually understand that I needed to make a dll. I thought I needed to just use it like wmnotification.
