import Excel .bas file

3 posts in this topic

#1 ·  Posted (edited)

I have been searching all day for a simple way to import a .bas file that is stored on a network, into my open Workbook. I have see lots of posts about how to do it but nothing I have tried works for me. Does anyone have some code that works for this? I have turned on the "Trust access to VB Project" in the Excel security.

Thanks

Try this (not tested):

#include <Excel.au3>

Global $oExcel, $oWorkbook, $oCurrSheet, $sMsg
Global $sXLS = "C:\YourDir\YourXL.xls"
Global $sBAS = "C:\YourDir\YourBAS.bas", $sMacroName = "DoMyMacro"

$oExcel = _ExcelBookOpen($sXLS)
$oExcel.VBE.ActiveVBProject.VBComponents.Import($sBAS)
$oExcel.Run($sMacroName)
$oExcel.UserControl = True

Global $sBAS = "C:\YourDir\YourBAS.bas", $sMacroName = "DoMyMacro"

$oExcel.Run($sMacroName)
$oExcel.UserControl = True
