Form submission problems

5 posts in this topic

I try not to ask any questions unless I am really stuck and I think I am there.

I am having problems trying to submit the form on this page.

http://user.evony.com/index.do?PageModule=UsersLogin

I can get it to fill in the username/password, but I am unable to get it to click the image on the right "Login And Play Now!". Not to mention click on the remember me checkbox but that is not big deal.

I have tried the following methods with no results.

Thank you for your help.

$oForm = _IEFormGetObjByName($oIE, "form1")
    Sleep(10)
$user = _IEFormElementGetObjByName ($oForm, "USER_NAME_LOGIN")
    Sleep(10)
        _IEFormElementSetValue ($user, $Euser)
            Sleep(100)
$password = _IEFormElementGetObjByName ($oForm, "PSSWORD")
    Sleep(10)
        _IEFormElementSetValue ($password, $Epass)
            Sleep(100)
_IEFormElementCheckboxSelect($oForm, "remeberme", "", 1, "byValue")
    Sleep(500)
_IEFormSubmit($oForm)

$oForm = _IEFormGetObjByName($oIE, "form1")
    Sleep(10)
$user = _IEFormElementGetObjByName ($oForm, "USER_NAME_LOGIN")
    Sleep(10)
        _IEFormElementSetValue ($user, $Euser)
            Sleep(100)
$password = _IEFormElementGetObjByName ($oForm, "PSSWORD")
    Sleep(10)
        _IEFormElementSetValue ($password, $Epass)
            Sleep(100)
_IEFormElementCheckboxSelect($oForm, "remeberme", "", 1, "byValue")
    Sleep(500)
_IEImgClick($oIE, "loginplay.png", "src")

SciTe Debug mode - it's magic: #AutoIt3Wrapper_run_debug_mode=Y Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?

Reproducer: a small (the smallest?) piece of stand-alone code that demonstrates your trouble

Right on thanks, that worked great.

Got any ideas about the checkbox not working?
