I posted that before you re-edited your previous post. I was just excited that you found a solution but I had not tried it yet. I ended up going to bed

it makes a clicking sound when you submit i wonder if there is any way around that? like turn off the volume just for clicks with autoit then turn it back on or something.

and i know how to add a carriage return with autoit, but how can i add a carriage return in php?

so instead of the log looking like this

new manual #1 - 2010-02-12new automated test #1 - 2010-02-12new automated test #2 - 2010-02-12

it looks like this

new manual #1 - 2010-02-12
new automated test #1 - 2010-02-12
new automated test #2 - 2010-02-12
