Tell a window its active while its not

If it were me wanting something like this, I would be looking into wrapping the two games in a gui somehow, making that gui the active window.

and then just keep refreshing the gui or something.

well this counts for you too.. think b4 you write smth i said people who crack stuff are finding ways to "lie" to programs too to get them running... i never wanted to crack anything or wanted help for that, that was just an example... my aim is to watch a game wich is running 2 times... and i want to watch both windows in window mode next to each other at the same time >.> but the problem is, that the windows are freezing while they are not active, until they are active again, so i can watch just one game window at a time.

and yes, this is an autoit related question cuz im pretty sure its possible at all, and my question is, if its possible with autoit too

A lot of games r design not to render while their rendering win isnt active, some r maded not to render even if it their main gui is active but their rendering win isnt in focus, that's their way to save resources while your not playing.

The other reason is that you cant have 2 windows active (especially for the same instance) is the key control for one win not reflecting to the other.

So whats the main reason of giving two windows focus in the same time, becose i cant beleave you only neeed that so you can look at two same instances of game at the same time? (Why i ask? First you tolded that "if i open my browser for example the game window freezes","but i want to keep watching the game while i do other things", and now you telling that "my aim is to watch a game wich is running 2 times").

And now you need 2 wins to have active while you do other things meaning that you need to have 3 wins in focus, two of game wins and one "if i open my browser for example "?

"think b4 you write smth" i did, did y? all the things that your trying to do is probably for some mmorpg like SilkRoad that dont alow third party software to influence them and probably should not b discussed heare.

I whud like to know what will b respond reaction to question "Hi, can you change your game so that i can have two game windows runing so that?" probably "Ok, btw ban and and have nice day" if its for mmorpg

you guys are ridicoulus, this thing should've been for silkroad, and who knows the game, knows it makes sense cuz 99% bot in there and run multiclient

1. i dont "really" wanna make 2 windows active, so its visible for the user or whatever, just wanna tell the game its active to run on, so i have to manipulate the game window and NOT windows...

2. i dont want to crack anything or whatever doing something illegal, just some window manipulation, like its possible with dll calls to user32.dll, too.

3. watching 2 windows at the same time or doing other shit wich is in foreground while watching my game are both "pro's" why i want this function, and how can you be so freakin lowmindend not to guess that, and write this damn bullshit that i could lie to you or whatever... even if i asked earlier not to write senseless shit... are you guys 12 or what? :S

4. why dont you open the forum rule, that you first have to explain the full situation, so that mods and supporters can see if it fits their moral imagination of life and sounds "legit" for them, before you get helped... and as punishment if you dont do that, everyone's flooding your thread with senseless retarded crap

5. PLEASE DO NOT WRITE HERE ANYMORE IF: you are one of the guys above who thought writing useless bullshit or their opinions might help me, but just if you have any clue how to solve this problem... but if this forum is not able to be near the ability to realize some freakin helping conversations, please close this thread anyway...

this is no 3rd party app for silkroad, its just a window style modification or whatever, wich u could do with every game or window... and it would be helpfull for legit silkroad players too cuz its allowed to play in window mode and if you wait for unique boss monsters for example, where you have to watch the screen all the time... and you could do things beside then... or if you open a shop and want to see if you sold something yet... this could be very usefull for legit silkroad players too and its an overall question... no question to do anything illegal... it doesnt help bots or whatever, just makes playing more comfortable.. even if theres just probbly 1 out of 1000 players whos legit and even the handgrinders use different loaders and modifications =)

whatever thats off topic... my question is just: how to make a window think its active and on top... you are allowed to keep all your personal suspiciousness and opinions how this could be used for you please

plus, if you dont buy my story volly, what the heck do u think i plan to do else with this method... why should i lie... even i cant imagine at all what else that could be usefull for.. pls dont say i talk bullshit if you just wanna hate a bit and dont say it at all if there could be things wich would be absolutely ok too... dont make me a suspect just because it COULD be i wanna do something crappy (whatever that could be? :S) ... thats not a supporters behavious... cuz else you'd have to ask almost everyone if hes trying to do something forbidden, if he asks for some code lol.. just stupid

No, it's not legitimate. The programmers designed it NOT to render while inactive. Trying to modify that is modifying the execution, and basically the same as hacking.
