Hallo,

I try to write my First AutoIT script for deploying WIM Images.

But I have some problems with variable selected in the drop down menu.

The intention is to select the WIM image and deploy the windows 7 image to the PC.

It seems there is a problem with the variable “$DropDown”. It should give the name of selected item in the drop box and not always “4”

Can someone help me to find the error?

Thanks

tarvr,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum.

You need to read the content of the combo, at the moment you are just getting its ControlID.

$cmd = '"' & @ComSpec & '" /k k:\Imagex32.exe /apply '& GUICtrlRead($DropDown) & ' 1 w:'

That should do the trick! :(
