I've been away from this forum and wondered if anyone could do a quick and dirty script from this batch file for windows 7:

takeown /f c:\windows\syswow64\notepad.exe
cacls c:\windows\syswow64\notepad.exe /G Administrators:F

takeown /f c:\windows\system32\notepad.exe
cacls c:\windows\system32\notepad.exe /G Administrators:F

takeown /f c:\windows\notepad.exe
cacls c:\windows\notepad.exe /G Administrators:F

copy c:\windows\syswow64\notepad.exe c:\windows\syswow64\notepad.exe.backup
copy c:\windows\system32\notepad.exe c:\windows\system32\notepad.exe.backup
copy c:\windows\notepad.exe c:\windows\notepad.exe.backup

copy notepad2.exe c:\windows\syswow64\notepad.exe
copy notepad2.exe c:\windows\system32\notepad.exe
copy notepad2.exe c:\windows\notepad.exe

Thanks

If you've been here before, you should know we don't do that here. This forum will help you learn to do it yourself.

Takeown and cacls are external utilities that can be Run() or ShellExecute()'d. See the help file.

Then look up FileCopy(), in the help file.

If you get stuck, post what you've got for more help.
