GUICtrlCreateInput Word Wrap

Recommended Posts

inm101

Is there a style for GUICtrlCreateInput that will specify a word wrap for a given text box? I can't figure out how to force word wrap for a text box. The text just keeps scrolling to the right and will not wrap down to the next line once it hits the edge of the box.

Thanks,

Ian

I know $BS_MULTILINE works for buttons, it may also work for input boxes as well.

An input is a single line Edit, so you need an edit perhaps. Even then switching word wrap on and off is tricky, though maybe you don't need to do that.

Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script.

What do you mean, "you need an edit"? I don't know which control you mean by that.

GUICtrlCreateEdit("", 125, 180, 315, 100,$ES_MULTILINE)
