josheee12 Posted March 18, 2010 Share Posted March 18, 2010 If I have a slider control read by a loop with a switch, and I drag the slider, how can I get it to trigger a command relating to the slider's value without releasing the cursor? Essentially, I need to slide a slider, and have a command run as it is being moved, not afterward. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

AdmiralAlkex Posted March 18, 2010 Share Posted March 18, 2010 I don't agree with snowmaker and Melba23. GUISetOnEvent is for gui's, it can't do much here, and polling in the main-loop.... That's just sad. I would prefer something like: #include <WindowsConstants.au3> $hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 640, 320, -1, -1, $WS_VISIBLE) $iSlider = GUICtrlCreateSlider(10, 35, 520, 40) GUIRegisterMsg($WM_HSCROLL, "WM_HSCROLL") Do Until GUIGetMsg() = -3 Func WM_HSCROLL($hWnd, $iMsg, $iwParam, $ilParam) ConsoleWrite(GUICtrlRead($iSlider) & @CRLF) EndFunc .Some of my scripts: ShiftER, Codec-Control, Resolution switcher for HTC ShiftSome of my UDFs: SDL UDF, SetDefaultDllDirectories, Converting GDI+ Bitmap/Image to SDL Surface Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
