Launcher (quick start applications)

Hello Y'all,

I use the freeware prog. "Microsys launcher" to quick-start applications (it sits in the tray and when clicked on i get a list with appl. i can run) I like this appl. but it works a bit buggy in a network (when i have it active on 2 pc's i sometimes get error's and the launcher shuts down). I like the idea that when the appl. list changes on 1 pc, that the other appl. list will also change accordingly)

I was wondering if i could make an appl. launcher like that..

Can someone kick me in the direction of a good example?

ps: i had a look at playlet launcher but it doesn't work well with 2 monitors (multiple monitors)... (i was hoping to make something quiet simple, text-based quick-launcher. It doesn't have to be fancy)

I am using pstart right now (works pretty well! even in a LAN)
