pbecks1963 Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Hello y'all, 1) Let's say i have this windows with in the menubar some items. ONE perticulair item is really unwanted and could lead to trouble if a user would select this item. Is it possible to hide/delete/mask/.... such an item? 2) Lets say that besides the window there is also a tray-icon with the exact same option (right click menu). It is possible to hide/delete/mask/.... that one as well?? ?
Moderators Melba23 Posted March 24, 2010 Moderators Posted March 24, 2010 pbecks1963,I am assuming that this is an external (non-AutoIt) app you are dealing with. To disable a menu item, look at _GUICtrlMenu_SetItemDisabled in the Help file. The tray menu is proving more difficult - I am still searching for a solution. Would hiding the entire icon be of use?M23 Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind Open spoiler to see my UDFs: Spoiler ArrayMultiColSort ---- Sort arrays on multiple columnsChooseFileFolder ---- Single and multiple selections from specified path treeview listingDate_Time_Convert -- Easily convert date/time formats, including the language usedExtMsgBox --------- A highly customisable replacement for MsgBoxGUIExtender -------- Extend and retract multiple sections within a GUIGUIFrame ---------- Subdivide GUIs into many adjustable framesGUIListViewEx ------- Insert, delete, move, drag, sort, edit and colour ListView itemsGUITreeViewEx ------ Check/clear parent and child checkboxes in a TreeViewMarquee ----------- Scrolling tickertape GUIsNoFocusLines ------- Remove the dotted focus lines from buttons, sliders, radios and checkboxesNotify ------------- Small notifications on the edge of the displayScrollbars ----------Automatically sized scrollbars with a single commandStringSize ---------- Automatically size controls to fit textToast -------------- Small GUIs which pop out of the notification area
