I need to put serial nos automatically for the cells starting with letter B in excel sheet as i am newbie to the autoit i am finding little difficult.Please guide me.

The Help file has some really good examples and a great way to learn au3. Search the _ExcelWriteCell() function in the Help file. Should do what you're describing. It also has 3 examples you can toy with.
