Question About Keylogger

Recommended Posts

An interesting question is if there is an "simple" way to detect if there is a myjad keylogger. Because it usually intercepts the keyboard, it should leave some tracks in the system. If we detect a keylogger we could avoid sending the password...

Any idea on where to look to detect a keylogger?

keyloggers are hard to detect manually .You will not notice the presence of such program. It is invisible in the Task List (when you press Ctrl-Alt-Del). It will not show in Task Bar, let alone your Desktop. It does not make any noise, your system will not slow down as in the case of spyware.

Two points to take note of here.

1. This thread is very old. There is no sense in replying to it.

2. Not every malware hides itself from the task manager.
