AdamSwe Posted April 25, 2010 Share Posted April 25, 2010 (edited) Lets say i got a list box with maybe 5 diffrent inputs. ---------- |Hello | |Maybe | |Today | |Topic | |Bonus | ---------- And I click the item "Today" and uses it in another function, how can I make it so the function removes the item but keeps the other ones intact? Moderators Melba23 Posted April 25, 2010 Moderators Share Posted April 25, 2010 AdamSwe, Here is one way of doing it: #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #Include <GuiListBox.au3> $sList = "|Hello|Maybe|Today|Topic|Bonus|" $hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 500, 500) $hList = GUICtrlCreateList("", 10, 10, 100, 100) GUICtrlSetData($hList, $sList) $hButton = GUICtrlCreateButton("Remove", 10, 120, 80, 30) GUISetState() While 1 Switch GUIGetMsg() Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exit Case $hButton ; Read selected item $sItem = GUICtrlRead($hList) ; Remove it from string $sList = StringReplace($sList, $sItem & "|", "") ; Refill the List GUICtrlSetData($hList, $sList) EndSwitch WEnd Note the use of a leading "|" in the string to force a replacement and not merely an addition to the list.
