Extract the Icon of A (running) Process

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

it is possible to extract (and save) the Icon of a Window? I want to present the Icon like the TaskManager in a ListView...

I've googled but I didn't found anything in Autoit... There are just some Code-parts written in C#.

Hello ATnightAT (and sorry for my bad english)

To extract and save icon, just use ResHacker.exe.

You can extract software librairies icon or dll librairies icon in *.ico file.

As much as I understood, he wants to get the icons at runtime from the processes running (and probably update them recursively).

I doubt reshacker is hardly the solution.
