A little help with Send()

Hi All,

I am having an issue trying to get the key combination of CTRL-+ to work. I am using the following code:

if $perc < $check then
    $zstr="^{+}"
else
    $zstr="^-"
EndIf
send($zstr)

My script will send the CTRL-- combination, but won't send the CTRL-+ combination.

What am I doing wrong?

you mean Ctrl - or + or -+ ?

if it didnt work for u u can try {LCTRL} not ^ it may work

I believe the Send() function requires double quotes to be part on the variable. Try assigning the variable with double quotes included.

if $perc < $check then
    $zstr = '"^{+}"'
else
    $zstr = '"^-"'
EndIf
send($zstr)

Like this. I might be wrong though..

EDIT: You might also want to change $zstr="^-" to $zstr="^{-}"

This didn't fix the issue

Funnily enough, sending "^-" works. Probably because the - isn't a modifier.

Thanks for the suggestions. Surely people have tried this before and got it working.

Any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Send('{CTRLUP}')

OR

Send('{CTRLDOWN}{+}{CTRLUP}')
