can we take data from XML/xcel file as script i/p

3 posts in this topic

1) does AutoIT support the 'verification' part of

the automated scenarios.

Suppose if we add a new file share by our script,

can we write code for checking whether the share

really got created or not?

2) can we take inputs from a XML or excel file

(.csv etc) , if so how ?

Thanks

"AutoIT" does not, but your properly written Au3 script can error check to its heart's content.

RTFM, File*()

I started once with an attempt parsing the Microsoft's MSSECURE.XML from within AutoIt3, using COM extensions.

Attached is an example script. It requires the AutoIt beta 3.1.1.x version to run.
