PranavS Posted June 23, 2010 Author Posted June 23, 2010 Hi BinaryBrother, I'm using Console Telnet 2.0, and Autoit v3.2.10.0 (required to use that Autoit version). I had to change AdlibRegister to AdlibEnable but only the name of the function has changed. Using that code, I can only seem to get to the login prompt.. not sure why it's doing that, but it's stuck after that. What OS are you using to host the telnet server? I've been using XP.. so going to try with Win7 now. Seems like I'm cursed...
BinaryBrother Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Console Telnet: 2.1b2 Telnet Server: Win7 x86 AutoIt: 3.3.6.1 I suggest you consider AutoIt 3.3.6.1 and CT 2.1b2. SIGNATURE_0X800007D NOT FOUND
PranavS Posted August 10, 2010 Author Posted August 10, 2010 Hi BinaryBrother! Sorry that I never replied! When I ran the code against a Windows 7 Telnet server on my localhost, I had success. However, I had problems whenever the server was not on localhost (e.g. another laptop on the network). I think the issues had to do with the User/privileges, and I got a bit lost on that topic. Either way, I ended up using a cygwin SSHD server instead <http://chinese-watercolor.com/LRP/printsrv/cygwin-sshd.html>. The encryption isn't really necessary, but I had no problems with terminal emulation at all. Thanks again for all of your help, I really appreciated it.
