Startup.log

5 posts in this topic

Hello Members

I created my first autoit script today. Wow! that was fun. It's a small program that runs an executable based on IP addresses. I notice a startup.log file gets created when I run my script. Is there a way to make sure that file does not get created.

Thanks

It sounds like you have the log being created by your script, so you would have to find where the log is created and any writes to the log and remove them from the code

Ermm... if you created this script, then how is it you don't know where the log is coming from?

Thanks guys! I just had a DUH  moment. I have not created a log file in my script.

I didnt consider this but its probably the executable I'm calling that creates the log file.
