SQL Server db

4 posts in this topic

I would like to create a script that can manipulate a SQL Server table. I know that there are some SQL lite functions, but I am unclear if they could access a seperate server, db, or MS sql server table. If someone could point me to some examples of or forums where this is already discussed.

Thanks.

Search the forum for ADO to find probably hundreds of examples using many different ADO providers (i.e. MSSQL, MySQL, Access, Excel, etc.).

I just discover your UDF Yoriz.

As a sidenote, I have a bare-bone one for Pervasive (closely modeled on SQLite functions) which works well with the Pervasive ADO layer. It has nothing specific to Pervasive btw and should be usable with potentially many more ADO providers. I'll clean it up from non-generic code and post it someday.
