GUI Image Background?

7 posts in this topic

How would I go about using a custom made jpeg background for my GUI BG? I used:

$background = GUICtrlCreatePic(@Scriptdir & "\Images\StinkyPeteBG.jpg", 0, 0, 300, 200)

And when I launch the program it shows pure white nothingness.

One other method is to use GDI+.

This might help you: http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=116158&view=findpost&p=810688

Posting what you have might be a good idea , does the example in the helpfile for 'GUICtrlCreatePic' work ok for you ?

Did you read the remarks for GUIctrlCreatePic() in the help file?

If a picture is set as a background picture, as the other controls will overlap, it's important to disable the pic control and create it after the others controls: GuiCtrlSetState(-1,$GUI_DISABLE).

Great to hear. A bit of searching and reading will take yo a long way and usually produces the desired results.
