I have this path

"Y:\!programs\Halo Custom Edition\haloce.exe"

When i execute it from an autoit script (using shellexecute) or form the run prompt, it will open halo, but when i run it from the registry, it opens halo.exe but halo looks for its config and map files on the desktop

What is the problem?

From the registry it's probably trying to search the working directory for the files. That is normally the Users DeskTop dir.

When you run it as a scrip, where are those files in relation to the script?
