position of button

Hello everyone,

i m trying to know the position of a button so that it gets clicked automatedly........

actually wat i m trying to do is...when my program executes a pop-up window comes up...and i hav to put an automated claick on one of the buttons....any suggestion 4 this....i was thinking to do the above mentioned startegy..if any better sol.is there plzz let me know..

by the way m unable to get the position of the button.....plzzz help me..

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :mellow:

First try to use the Au3 Window Info tool on the pop-up and see if you can identify the button. Then we can use ControlClick to press it without needing to know its position.

The Window Info tool can be found at "C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\Au3Info.exe" if you have a standard install. It is pretty easy to use. Post the results here and we will see what we can do to help. :P
