Boundng box (Autoit steals focus)

Recommended Posts

cmitchell

I have an autoit script i have written which works very well. The only problem i am having is that it steals the window focus while running, which means i am not able to complete any other task on PC while running. Does anyone know how to prevent the scripts from stealing focus, maybe even some kind of bounding box for autoit to open inside of?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Chris

cmitchell,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum.

I presume your script has a GUI which "steals the window focus". If so, then try using this to activate the GUI:

GUISetState(@SW_SHOWNOACTIVATE, $hGUI) ; $hGUI is the handle returned by GUICreate
