YogeshDikshit
Pls help me in using WinGetText() function. The desired window <<Control>> info using A3 Window info tool is as follows: <<Control>> Property Value Class classMyWinMdiChildFram Instance 1 ID 65281 Can we use any of these info... I use WinGetText("[active]") for the desired window being active. But actually it shows the text info for all opened windows in my application Thanks & BR, Yogesh
PsaltyDS
"Window" in that context means top level windows (direct child of the desktop). Not sub-windows of your application's window. If your app is currently active then all visible text in that app window is the correct return value. Try this instead: $sText = ControlGetText("[ACTIVE]", "", "[CLASS:classMyWinMdiChildFram; INSTANCE:1]") Valuater's AutoIt 1-2-3, Class...
