GUICtrlCreateButton - how to enable and disable?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

hopefully this is an easy one but I cant seem to find in the help file.

How do you enable and disable buttons that you create?

I know how to hide and show them, but I want them to stay showing but when I click on the button the button gets locked out so you cannot click the button again.

is this possible? thanks

gr1fter,

I know how to hide and show them

Just under the $GUI_SHOW/HIDE states on the GUICtrlSetState page of the Help file you will see

$GUI_ENABLE Control will be enabled.

$GUI_DISABLE Control will be greyed out.

which I imagine is what you are looking for.

P.S. If you are hiding/showing the buttons another way, please let us know how - you should be doing it with GUICtrlSetState! ;)
