For example..

$sPassword=InputBox("Login","Enter Password      "&(FileReadLine($sav, 5)),"",'',320,100)
See the code bit "(FileReadLine($sav, 5))" which reads from a line in another location? In the Inputbox that text is non-highlightable by the mouse as is the "Enter Password" (cannot copy/paste it). I want to enable that option only for code bit "(FileReadLine($sav, 5))" so when you place your mouse over it it becomes the I-beam which allows for your to then drag-drop over top then right click and go to copy.

Never seen any info on this. Would be most appreciated if I found a workaround. Thanks autoit community!

Thudo,

So you want to have a copiable password as part of the "prompt"? Cannot be done with an InputBox, you would have to create your own GUI. ;)

Why not just put the suggestion in the "default" positon - then the user automatically replaces it if they start typing?

$sPassword = InputBox("Login", "Enter Password", FileReadLine($sav, 5), '', 320, 200)

Ah.. Hmm.. thats workable I think as the text is already highlighted so when a user is prompted it will immediately over-write the field. I'll have to see if its an acceptable compromise. Glad to see this question was asked of Autoit.. might be useful to others..
