Readout a program

Hi,

first my English isn't good. But I'll try.

I want to readout a program. I used ControlGetText. It works by Edit ("Nachname", "Vorname", "Künstlername") and ComboBox ("Nationalität", "2. Nationalität"). But not by Button ("Geburtsdatum", "Bevorzugter Fuß" (you can't see it on the screenshot")) and Static ("Rückennummer"). When I try to readout "Geburtsdatum" he reads "Alter".

Without any code, then no, I have no idea.

I tried it so:

$Rueckennummer = ControlGetText("Fussball Manager","","Static11")
$Geburtsdatum = ControlGetText("Fußball Manager","","Button5")
$Fuss = ControlGetText("Fussball Manager","","Button21")

Rueckennummer = Squad number

Geburtsdatum = Date of birth

Fuss = Foot

You wrote the football manager program in autoit yourself or is it a commercial product?

Maybe when you read this:

$Geburtsdatum = ControlGetText("Fußball Manager","","Button5")

...that button5 isn't the name of the control that you want to read.

Have you used AutoIt's Window Info Tool?

In which programming language is the AutoIt's Window Info Tool written? Because on the button "Visible text" I can read the Date of birth.

It's weird that they would name that control 'Button5' seeing as to how it isn't even a button. We're talking about the control that has the number 1978?

Yes. And 8 (day) and 5 (month). 1978 is the year.

Did you freeze window info tool as soon as you rolled your mouse over 'button5'? I believe the hotkey for that is ctrl + shift + alt + f
