Recommended Posts

Is there any way to take the number 8024242 and split it into

three separate variables with the values...

if anyone could just point out some func or commands that would help or assist towards that goal...I can't even figure out how to pull a sigit character off a string atm. I would appreciate it. ty

See StringMid in the helpfile.

$str1 = StringMid("8024242", 1, 3)

$str2 = StringMid("8024242", 4, 2)

$str3 = StringMid("8024242", 6, 2)

$str = "8024242"
$x = StringReplace($str, "2", "2|")
$x = StringTrimRight($x, 1)
$str = StringSplit($x, "|")
For $i = 1 to $str[0]
MsgBox(0, "", "Contents of $str[" & $i & "] = " & $str[$i])
