adik2dmax666
Are there any resizing function for combobox made using _GUICtrlComboBoxEx_Create ? example below doesn't work Global $Searchbox = _GUICtrlComboBoxEx_Create($GUI_main, "",624, 16, 40, 100,BitOR($CBS_DROPDOWNLIST,$CBS_AUTOHSCROLL)) GUICtrlSetResizing($Searchbox,BitOR($GUI_DOCKHEIGHT, $GUI_DOCKTOP)) Edited August 8, 2010 by adik2dmax666 First learn computer science and all the theory. Moderators Melba23 Posted August 8, 2010 Moderators Share Posted August 8, 2010 adik2dmax666,As you have just discovered, the built-in GUICtrl* functions are designed to work with controls you create with the built-in GUICtrlCreate* functions in the same script. Some will interact with the _GUICtrl* UDF functions, but not often. As a general rule, try to avoid mixing the two - although in some cases you must to get the required result. M23P.S. There is no need to use BitOR when you use multiple Docking Values - simple addition will work (as stated in the Help file). But using BitOR does no harm and you must use it for combining other style types as explained in this Setting Styles tutorial. adik2dmax666
My _GUICtrl ComboBox is now resizing unconventionally. I dont have enough time to study styles and so, i based it's position from the input box beside it.The script destroys the Control, then creates another one when the x position of the input box is changed.Func CheckCombo() Local $SIDE_SIZE = ControlGetPos("[active]","",39) ;Input box If Not IsArray($SIDE_SIZE) Then Else If $SIDE_SIZE[0] <> $SIDE_CTR Then $SIDE_CTR = $SIDE_SIZE[0] _GUICtrlComboBoxEx_Destroy($Searchbox) Global $Searchbox = _GUICtrlComboBoxEx_Create($GUI_main, "",$SIDE_SIZE[0] - 40, 18, 40, 100, BitOR($CBS_DROPDOWNLIST,$CBS_AUTOHSCROLL)) $hImage = _GUIImageList_Create (16, 16, 5, 3) _GUIImageList_AddIcon ($hImage, $skin_dir & "favicon\google_fav.ico") _GUIImageList_AddIcon ($hImage, $skin_dir & "favicon\yahoo_fav.ico") _GUIImageList_AddIcon ($hImage, $skin_dir & "favicon\wikipedia_fav.ico") ;Set Image List _GUICtrlComboBoxEx_SetImageList ($Searchbox, $hImage) _GUICtrlComboBoxEx_AddString ($Searchbox, "=", 0, 0) _GUICtrlComboBoxEx_AddString ($Searchbox, "=", 1, 1) _GUICtrlComboBoxEx_AddString ($Searchbox, "=", 2, 2) _GUICtrlComboBoxEx_SetCurSel($Searchbox,0) EndIf EndIf EndFuncSimilar thread: _GUICtrlComboBoxEx_Create() - resizing bug Edited August 8, 2010 by adik2dmax666 First learn computer science and all the theory.
