KurogamineNox
Got a question, can AutoIt work if coded correctly like an RSS program?
MvGulik
Sure. But RSS is more a process than a single program. Unless you had something specific in mind.(?) - RSS (data file) creator. - RSS file. special formatted text file. - RSS reader. RSS file reader + checker(scanning od a bunch of known (stored) RSS url's) "Straight_and_Crooked_Thinking" : A "classic guide to ferreting out untruths, half-truths, and other distortions of facts in political and social discussions.""The Secrets of Quantum Physics" : New and excellent 2 part documentary on Quantum Physics by Jim Al-Khalili. KurogamineNox
Something Like an RSS reader, Just to read updates from certain RSS feeds. I just wanted to know if it was possible, since maybe Ill get into the RSS stuff soon.
AndyG
Of course it is possible... _InetGetSource() the *.RSS-File from somewhere in the internet and read the last/newest messages. Or write a *.RSS-File with AutoIt and save this file on your webspace to offer these "feeds"
MvGulik
... and read the last/newest messages.Thats part of the RSS reader application logic. ... to figure out what the last read messages where (by the current user). After getting the full RSS file first of course.
