_IETableGetCollection dynamic index

I have a problem with _IETableGetCollection .. I need to access a table in a HTML page. I am able to do it using _IETableGetCollection. But my problem is, content of the final generated HTML is dynamic in the sense, the table order may change. Is there any built in function or a user defined function where in we can locate the table by say table id, or some text inside first cell of the table ... ?

I am thinking of writing a function myself where in I parse the html body and look for the 'text' and thus locate the table #, or something like that, but just wanted to check if someone was already in the same boat and has figured out a better way to handle this.

What you're thinking is pretty much the best way to do it, here's an example:

If the table has an ID, just use _IEGetObjById()
