ame1011
I have gotten to the stage where I would like to begin incorporating dll files into my autoit scripts. Before I start I wanted to ask a question about the dll's in general. Here goes: Are dll files tailored for certain languages specifically or can they be used by any programming language. The reason I ask is because I recently downloaded a dll file and in the docs of the dll file, it showed how to call methods of that dll in various languages. Obviously autoit wasnt listed and I was wondering if the dll can only be called by the languages that were specified in the docs or by all languages. Thanks in advance I always thought dogs laid eggs, and I learned something today.
JSThePatriot
To my limited knowledge DLL's can be used by any language that can 'access' them. Hopefully that answers your question.
