kor
I have the scriptomatic tool but I'm not sure if there is a WMI call that will do what I want. I want to detect what the localhost is currently running in terms of AHCI mode or legacy IDE mode. Even better if I can also see if system is in IDE mode, if it even supports AHCI. I guess I could figure that out by seeing if the drive is an IDE or SATA drive. If drive is IDE I would have a feeling that the computer might be old enough that AHCI wasn't built into the bios. Does anyone know of a way to query these options?
