Windows Event Log Monitor

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

I am trying to create a Auto IT Script that will non stop monitor the Windows Event Log. I have used the different scritps that have been shared on here and have been unable to the results I need.

I have attached a text copy of what I have come up with so far.

As the script stands now it will bring up a memo pad indicating there is new logs and will start my batch file. What I am needing to do is to narrow down the Event that the script is monitoring.

Here is what I am wanting to watch for then when this is found for it to start my batch program.

<Provider Name="Mup" />

<EventID Qualifiers="32772">139</EventID>

Also not sure how the If $iResult = -2 Then works with regards to the (-2) not sure what the numbers mean have researched and have been unable to find anything.

Any Suggestions would be greatly Appreciated.
