Viper2025
Guys, I need some advice on Tools. I'm looking to build some software adaptors that will involve real time communications with electronic test equipment. 20 years ago I would have selected C++, is this still a reasonable choice? I haven't coded for a living in a very long time. I have used AutoIt for years for my own personal fun and some game projects. Back in the day I would never select a tool like Autoit because of the overhead. Can it be used for small communication tasks today or should I invest the time to learn a new tool? Thanks, Ed
PsaltyDS
What is the interface standard to the test equipment? Don't you find preferred tools and examples already associated with that equipment in C, or VB.Net, etc.? That would be the language(s) to work in. Valuater's AutoIt 1-2-3, Class...
