the best way to make a sound?

Recommended Posts

Personally I start by opening my mouth.

However, if it is to be called musical or not, I do not know..

But yes, it's more than a beep.

Try it.

Hehe, I get that all the time.

People seem to have difficulties separating craziness and happiness.

And that avatar-text actually does have a meaning..

You can use the Beep() function created by layer in one of the latest BETA's. Only works if you have an internal speaker on your MB but.

Funny thread, LOL :(

Anyway, as you know, windows have midi interface. Good soundcards like Audigy have own hardware midi processor with soundfonts support, integrated peripherals usually use standard windows gm.dls midi bank in the software mode, but this is not matter, DirectSouind is common interface for all. Probably it's not so simple in low level, but maybe some wrappers or COM interfaces exists... Good luck :(
