Koda, by default, generates something like $Form1 = GUICreate("The Form", 623, 449, 192, 114)

Can it generate something like $Form1 = GUICreate($caption, 623, 449, 192, 114) ? If so, how?

You can always change the caption manually after Koda has created the forms for you and you include it into your script. Why would you need Koda to do that for you, it takes all of 2 seconds to do it manually.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

There is option "Expand %var% variables"

From Koda helpfile:

Expand %var% variables This option allow expand variables in the text properties (like Caption and Text). Desired variable should be quoted with two ”%” signs. Example: Info for user %user% will be expanded into “Info for user ” & $user.

EDIT: So in your Koda put %caption% into Title in Object Inspectorand turn ON Expand %var% option
