Read texttexttexttext to an array and write it back to a file inserting NEWTEXTNEWTEXTNEWTEXT after you have written texttexttexttext line to file or in memory.

It should be easy to do this.

kantaki,

This does what you want: :graduated:

$sText = "texttexttexttexttexttext" & @CRLF & _
         "texttexttexttexttexttext" & @CRLF & _
         "texttexttexttexttexttext" & @CRLF & _
         "texttexttexttexttexttext" & @CRLF & _
         "texttexttexttexttexttext" & @CRLF & _
         "texttexttexttexttexttext"

$sInsertText = "NEWTEXTNEWTEXTNEWTEXT"

$sNewText = StringReplace($sText, @CRLF, @CRLF & $sInsertText & @CRLF)

MsgBox(0, "New Text", $sNewText)

Can also consider:

$text = StringReplace("texttexttexttexttexttext", "text", "NEWTEXT")

I think what you're seeing is that there are many ways to accomplish what you're trying to do. It all depends on what you want the program to do in connection with inserting the text. You didn't mention how many times you want to repeat this process, but you could easily write this many times to a text file by using something like this:

$var1 = "texttexttexttexttexttext" & @CRLF
$var2 = "NEWTEXTNEWTEXTNEWTEXT" & @CRLF
$var3 = FileOpen("C:\Text.txt", 1)
For $i = 1 to 100 Step 1
FileWrite($var3, $var1)
FileWrite($var3, $var2)
Next
FileClose($var3)

√-1 2^3 ∑ π, and it was delicious!
