Problem getting text from a control

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I've been trying to get some text from this program.

http://www.efg2.com/Lab/Graphics/Colors/ColorRange.htm

I can control and get the information of pretty much everything but the labels, and I need the information in the right-bottom side of the windows.

The text is in a common Delphi TLabel.

The question is: Is there any other way to get text from a control than ControlGetText()?

Thanks and sorry for my english!

You could try WinGetText() or use the clipboard with ClipGet().

Post your code because code says more then your words can. SciTe Debug mode - it's magic: #AutoIt3Wrapper_run_debug_mode=Y. Use Opt("MustDeclareVars", 1)[topic="84960"]Brett F's Learning To Script with AutoIt V3[/topic][topic="21048"]Valuater's AutoIt 1-2-3, Class... is now in Session[/topic]Contribution: [topic="87994"]Get SVN Rev Number[/topic], [topic="93527"]Control Handle under mouse[/topic], [topic="91966"]A Presentation using AutoIt[/topic], [topic="112756"]Log ConsoleWrite output in Scite[/topic]

Interesting issue. I was hoping you could highlight the text (didn't really look at the picture too well) but you cannot highlight labels.

If the desired text is not showing up in the AutoIt info tool you don't have many issues and I have not dealt with Delphi much.

Dorry I could not be more of assistance.
