winwait class

5 posts in this topic

I know the class if the windows is: USurface_(random numbers)

How would i make winwaitactive only wait for: USurface_ and still reply a msgbox?

as it is right now i have to put the whole class name in before it works :/

If WinWaitActive("[CLASS:USurface_10667495]") Then
msgbox(0,"test","test1")
EndIf

spymare,

You can use the REGEXPCLASS descriptor - look in the Help file under <Using AutoIt - Window Titles and Text (Advanced) - Advanced Window Descriptions> to get more details. :P

I would imagine WinWaitActive("[REGEXPCLASS:USurface_.?]") will do the trick in your case. :x

spymare,

Take a look at Opt("WinTitleMatchMode") in the Help file - one of the modes should do the trick. :x
